Prior to the date of the scheduled hearing, the Registrar of Contractors filed a communication with the Office of Administrative Hearings, indicating that their records revealed that Respondent had, in fact, failed to answer the Citation filed in this matter and thus, there was no need for a hearing since they would be issuing a default Decision and Order, as required by applicable statute. Therefore, good cause appearing, the above-entitled case is vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings and it is hereby recommended that this matter be remanded back to the Registrar of Contractors for further action based on Respondent’s failure to answer the Citation.
