AND SETTING STATUS DATE
The prehearing conference in this matter was scheduled to convene on June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Assistant Attorney General Sarah Hicks represented the Arizona State Land Department (“Department”). Anthony Holbrook, Esq. represented Cheto Partners, L.L.C. (“Lessee”). Joe McEnaney and Jeff Garrett were also present.
Prior to the commencement of the prehearing conference, the parties advised the Tribunal that they are in the process of resolving the matter in dispute, however, need additional time in which to do so. The parties requested that the hearing be continued and that the matter be set for a Status Update in 45 days. The request was granted.
Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on July 28, 2025. On or before this date, the parties are advised to do one of the following:
Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;
Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or
Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
