ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on January 21, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Assistant Attorney General Scott McDonald represented the Arizona State Board of Accountancy (“Board”). Respondent Cooper J. McGeorge appeared on his own behalf. Prior to the commencement of the hearing, Mr. Donald informed the Tribunal that he filed a Motion to Rescind with the Board that would be addressed at the Board’s next scheduled meeting. Mr. Donald requested that this matter be set for a written Status Update in order to afford the Board the opportunity to consider his Motion and for him to advise the Tribunal if the matter can be vacated or should be set for hearing. Mr. McGeorge agreed to the requested Status Update.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on February 3, 2025. On or before this date, Mr. Donald is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
