ORDER VACATING HEARING, REMANDING TO AGENCY

On April 23, 2025, the Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (Department) issued a Notice of Hearing (Notice) for an administrative hearing in the above-captioned matter to convene on June 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Arizona Office of Administrative Hearings (Tribunal), an independent state agency. The Notice provided the location, website address, and phone number of the Tribunal.

At the time of the hearing and for a minimum of fifteen minutes thereafter, Petitioner failed to appear at the Tribunal.

Petitioner had not requested to appear telephonically prior to the hearing date and, further, he did not call in to the Tribunal at the time of the hearing to request to appear telephonically. Based on the foregoing, and pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-19-117,

IT IS ORDERED the hearing in this matter is vacated and the matter is remanded to the Department for any further action.
