MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on May 22, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., before the Office of Administrative Hearings. On the date and time set for hearing, Assistant Attorney General Scott Donald represented the Arizona State Board of Accountancy (“Board”). Christopher Rasmussen and Kijler Marble were also present on behalf of the Board. Phyllis Conrad appeared on behalf of Respondent Phyllis A. Conrad, CPA, LLC.

Prior to the commencement of the hearing, the parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties advised that they had resolved the matter giving rise to the hearing, however, needed additional time in order to obtain approval from the Board.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a Status Update on July 29, 2024. On or before this date, Mr. Donald is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
