On October 9, 2020, the Arizona Medical Board (“Board”) filed a Case Status Update with the Office of Administrative Hearings in which the Board advised of the following:

On October 9, 2020, the [Board], at a public meeting, rescinded the directive that the Thakkar case be heard before the Office of Administrative Hearings. Further, at that same public meeting, the Board accepted the surrender of Dr. Thakkar’s medical license. Dr. Thakkar is no longer a licensed physician in Arizona; and thus, there is no case in controversy before this court.

Based on the above,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing in this matter is vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter to the Board for any further action.
