Submission and grounds I April Murphy had purchased a new build home from Relator James Lanar October 2023. Builder/ contractor is Elego LLC/ Hugo Gomez. I have attached several Picture, videos from licensed roofers, documents and emails regarding our damages patio roof, garage roof, master shower, and super fund site information. I also attached 2 of Mr. Gomez revoked building license and information about our first complaint February 2025. Before closing on our home in October of 203 we had an inspector check the building and made a list of items that Mr. Gomez needs to fix before closing. The cracked patio roof was one of those items. He stated he would correct that before closing and Mr. Gomez Relator James lenar emailed my realtor Maghen Lindholm stating all the work was done. 2 months after closing we noticed the roof had not been fixed and it still had all the same cracks along with new staining to the underside of the patio. We tried contacting Mr. Gomez several times and finally filed the first roc claim February of 2025 due to pulling up carpet in one of the bedrooms and found a crack in the concrete along the wall with anchors sticking out. Roc inspector John Peru came out with Mr. Gomez and stated the roof had no active leaks and the staining we saw was just dirt . He did have Mr. Gomez fix the concrete . October 2025 Arizona had a lot of rain and we noticed active leaks along the entire patio with black mold preset on one of damaged dry wall seams, active leak in the garage with dry wall damage, and holes in our master shower floor. I tried contacting Mr. Gomez and he stated he moved out of country and was no longer in business. I filed a second roc claim and roc inspector James Carter came out November 2025. We have now been denied the recovery fund and the appeal, even though our home is clearly damaged.
