ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on December 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and at the time set for hearing, Complainant Amber Elmer appeared on her own behalf with her husband, Charles Elmer. Steven Amarillas appeared on behalf of Respondent LHH/Amarillas Bros Construction, LLC, doing business as QFI Construction. Arizona Registrar of Contractors Investigator Heath Richards appeared as a witness.

Prior to the commencement of the hearing, Ms. Elmer informed the Tribunal that the parties had reached a resolution of the matter in dispute, however, needed additional time in which to execute the terms of the resolution.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on April 6, 2026. On or before this date, Ms. Elmer is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
