ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on July 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Assistant Attorney General Charles Hover III represented Complainant Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”). Assistant General Counsel Michael Laclare was present on behalf of the Registrar. Pablo Garcia appeared on behalf of Respondent Canizales Construction, LLC.

The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties advised the Tribunal that they had reached a potential resolution of the matter, however, needed additional time in which to execute the terms of the agreement.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on August 18, 2025. On or before this date, Mr. Hover is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
