COMPLAINANT, ORDER VACATING HEARING v.

Specialty Companies Group, LLC License Nos. ROC 193227, 240741, 236141, 240740, 236142, RESPONDENT.

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on November 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. On the date and at the time set for hearing, Assistant Attorney General Charles Hover III represented Complainant Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”). Michael Laclare, Assistant General Counsel for the Registrar, appeared as a witness. Veronica Manolio, Esq. represented Specialty Companies Group, LLC (“Respondent”). Peter Mizioch, owner of Respondent, was present. Edward Maciag, Director of Operations for Respondent, appeared as a witness for Respondent. The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties advised the Tribunal that they had resolved the matter in dispute. The resolution involved Respondent’s admission of a “technical” violation of A.R.S. § 32-1154(A)(20) and the resolution of the underlying complaints involving payment of monies to the six (6) complainants within thirty (30) days of November 10, 2025. The parties further agreed that in the event Respondent fails to make the required payments within the thirty (30) days, Respondent’s five (5) contracting licenses will be automatically suspended. In light of the parties’ settlement agreement, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing in this matter is vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter to the Registrar for further action consistent with the terms of the parties’ agreement.
