ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING WRITTEN STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on February 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Complainant Elizabeth Gosselin appeared on her own behalf. Lawrence Felder, Esq. represented Respondent Sun Valley General Contractors, LLC. Alin Ghetes was present on behalf of Respondent Sun Valley General Contractors, LLC. Registrar of Contractors Investigator Joey Chester appeared as a witness.

The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties requested additional time in which to allow Ms. Gosselin an opportunity to obtain bids from licensed contractors to complete/repair the remaining verified items listed in the Written Directive, and provide those bids to Mr. Felder to review with Mr. Ghetes in order to arrive at a mutually agreeable monetary settlement of the matter. The request was granted.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on March 12, 2025. On or before this date, the parties are advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
