ORDER VACATING

HEARING

On September 25, 2024, the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”) filed a Notice of Withdrawal of Citation and Request to Vacate Hearing with the Office of Administrative Hearings in which the Registrar advised the following:

The Registrar issued a Citation in this matter on July 5, 2024. On August 19, 2024, Respondent filed with the Registrar a Notice of Pendency of Bankruptcy. A review of the bankruptcy court’s records shows that on July 18, 2024, Respondent filed a Petition for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, Case No. 2:24-bk-05844-PS, and Complainant was listed as one of the creditors.

Under 11 U.S.C. §362(a), these proceedings are automatically stayed. Accordingly, the Registrar withdraws its Citation, and requests that the hearing set for September 26, 2024, be vacated.

Based upon the Registrar’s withdrawal of the Citation issued in this matter,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing in this matter is vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter to the Registrar for further action.
