After ROC issued the Notice of Hearing, Complainant requested to appear in person.
The parties were so notified. Responder filed a last minute exparte request for a good cause
continuance, of which the undersigned was unaware until 20 minute before the noticed
hearing time. Complainant arrived for the hearing, unaware whether the motion had been granted. ROC Investigator Smith appeared. Respondent did not appear. Given the circumstances, the hearing is continued and will be conducted on January 3, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. as follows: GOOGLE Meeting ID meet.google.com/paw-zeob-ksq Phone Numbers (US)+1 224-999-1050 PIN: 298 300 400# Use the Google Meet video conference link if you wish to join by video conference. Complainant has requested to appear in person due to possible connection difficulties with their existing internet.1 The Registrar’s investigators in administrative hearings always appear over the internet link. Respondent may choose to appear by Google, by phone or in person. Review the ROC Notice of Hearing regarding instructions to disclose any documents you plan to use during the hearing at least 7 days prior to the hearing.
