ORDER

On May 31, 2024, the Registrar of Contractors (Registrar) issued a Notice of Hearing on Contested Case for the above-entitled matter, setting a hearing for July 16, 2024.

On June 5, 2024, Complainant filed a Motion to Continue. Complainant provided good cause for requesting a Continuance. Complainant did not send a copy of the motion to Respondent.

On June 5, 2024, this Tribunal issued a Minute Entry which (1) provided a copy of the motion to Respondent and (2) provided Respondent until June 26, 2024 to respond to the Motion. The Minute Entry was sent to the address of record:

On June 6, 2024, Respondent submitted Exhibits. The cover page for that submission confirmed that the address above was correct and provided an email address for Respondent.

Respondent did not Respond to the Motion to Continue in accordance with the June 5, 2024, Minute Entry. In failing to do so, Respondent did not inform the Tribunal of any potential prejudice that would be caused by postponing the hearing. The Minute Entry provided Respondent more time to respond to the Motion to Continue than is required by the Rules.

On July 5, 2024, this Tribunal issued a Minute Entry – Granting Continuance, informing the Parties that the hearing would be held of September 6, 2024. The Minute Entry was sent to the contact information provided by Respondent on June 6, 2024.

On July 18, 2024, Respondent submitted a Miscellaneous Motion, wherein Respondent did not request anything from this Tribunal. Respondent expressed grievances about notice and the opportunity she was given to respond to the continuance.

The Miscellaneous Motion, did not request any action. Accordingly, no action will be taken.
