ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on September 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Assistant Attorney General Charles Hover III represented Complainant Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”). Assistant General Counsel Margaret Lindsey appeared as a witness for the Registrar. Dave Shorey appeared on behalf of Respondent ABCO Solar, Inc. The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, Mr. Hover informed the Tribunal that the parties have agreed to enter into a Consent Agreement. However, the Registrar requested additional time in which to execute the Consent Agreement.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on October 23, 2024. On or before this date, the Registrar is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
