ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The continued hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on November 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for continued hearing, Complainant Leonard Buckmaster appeared on his own behalf. Elicio Aguilar, Sr. and Elicio Aguilar, Jr. appeared on behalf of Respondent A & G Builders, LLC. Arizona Registrar of Contractors Investigator Ruben Perez appeared as a witness. Interpreter Samuel Campos provided translation services.

During the course of the hearing, after Investigator Perez’s testimony, the parties appeared amenable to resolving the matter in dispute. Consequently, the Administrative Law provided the parties an opportunity to discuss settlement during a recess and outside of her presence. Following that discussion, the parties advised the Tribunal that they had reached a resolution of the matter, however, needed additional time in which to execute the terms of the settlement agreement.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on December 20, 2024. On or before this date, Mr. Buckmaster is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
