IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS
Anthony Berry,
COMPLAINANT,
v.
Hirsch Masonry & Construction, LLC
License No. ROC 345664,
RESPONDENT.
No. 2024A-00053-CHC-ROC
MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE
AND SETTING STATUS DATE
The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on June 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Complainant Anthony Berry appeared on his own behalf. Jorge Hirsch appeared on behalf of Respondent Hirsch Masonry & Construction, LLC. Registrar of Contractors Investigator Michael Springer was present.
The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties informed the Tribunal that they had resolved the matter, however, needed additional time in which to execute the terms of the agreement, which included Mr. Hirsch scheduling a licensed roofing contractor to inspect the project and schedule the corrective work to be performed.
Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on July 1, 2024. On or before this date, Mr. Berry is advised to do one of the following:
Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;
Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or
Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
Done this day, June 3, 2024.
