MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on May 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and at the time set for hearing, Complainant Thomas Hendrickson appeared on his own behalf with his wife, Muffie Hendrickson. Brandon Burton appeared on behalf of Respondent OTH Remodeling, LLC. Registrar of Contractors Investigator Mark Nipp was also present.

The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties advised the Tribunal that they had reached a resolution of the matter, however, needed additional time in which to fulfill the terms of the resolution, which include Respondent obtaining engineering, permitting, plumbing, and landscaping for the project.

Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on July 29, 2024. On or before this date, Complainant is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.

Done this day, May 31, 2024.
