ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE
AND SETTING STATUS DATE
The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on July 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Julie Klarkowski appeared with Connor Klarkowski and Scott Klarkowski on behalf of Complainant Big Kahuna Construction Corp. Justin Folsom, Esq. represented Respondent Sevilla Electric, LLC. Eliseo Sevilla was also present on behalf of Respondent Sevilla Electric, LLC. Arizona Registrar of Contractors Investigator Michael Wiskow was present.
The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. Following that discussion, the parties advised the Tribunal that they had entered into a settlement agreement, however, needed additional time in which to execute the terms of the agreement.
Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on August 12, 2024. On or before this date, Complainant is advised to do one of the following:
Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;
Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or
Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
