IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

Lauren Kim,

COMPLAINANT,

v.

Silver Lake Holdings, LLC

License No. ROC 321001,

RESPONDENT.

No. 2023A-11422-CHC-ROC

Minute Entry

Respondent filed Motions to Vacate the hearing in this matter. Ultimately, Complainant responded that she still wishes to proceed to hearing because she is not satisfied with some of the corrective work performed by Respondent. Therefore, the hearing will proceed as previously scheduled.

The parties are on notice that the scope of the hearing is limited to whether Complainant proves the alleged violations of this State’s contracting laws as charged by the Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”). The Registrar does not require perfection, but rather, a contractor’s work must meet minimum workmanship standards as set forth by the Registrar.

The parties are free to try to resolve the matter amongst themselves prior to the hearing. In the event the parties resolve the matter prior to hearing, Complainant shall file a Motion to Vacate with the Office of Administrative Hearings prior to the hearing date.

Done this day, May 14, 2024.
