MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

A hearing in the above-entitled matter was set for January 5, 2024 at 1PM. Complainant did not appear for hearing.

Approximately four days after the scheduled hearing date, Complainant filed a Miscellaneous Motion explaining that the company’s e-mail address that was on file with the Registrar of Contractors had been hacked.

The matter was reset for hearing on March 5, 2024 at 1PM through Google Meet. The Administrative Law Judge waited approximately fourteen minutes for the parties to appear for hearing, however, no one connected to the Google Meet.

About an hour after the hearing was scheduled to convene on March 5, 2024, Complainant filed a Motion for Continuance stating that Complainant was connected to the Google Meet from 12:55 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the session never began.

Having considered the Motion for Continuance,

IT IS ORDERED that the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued to

May 22, 2024 at 9:00 AM.

Because it appears that Complainant was unable to connect with the Administrative Law Judge through Google Meet, due to a technical problem,

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the hearing will be held in person at the Office of Administrative Hearings located at 1740 W. Adams Street, Lower Level, Phoenix, AZ 85007.
