MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on March 13, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Complainant Brenda Richardson appeared on her own behalf. Charles R. Hyde, Esq. represented Respondent Silva Diversified Construction Co., LLC. Oscar Silva was present. Arizona Registrar of Contractors Investigator John Smith was also present.

The parties participated in a prehearing discussion outside of the presence of the Administrative Law Judge. During that discussion, the parties resolved the matters in dispute and memorialized their agreement. Mr. Hyde emailed a copy of the settlement agreement to Ms. Richardson. Ms. Richardson agreed, on the record, to the terms of the agreement that were emailed to her. The parties further agreed to set this matter for a written status update on June 15, 2024. However, because that date falls on a Saturday, the Tribunal has set the status date as follows:

Good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a Status Update on June 17, 2024. On or before this date, Ms. Richardson, as the Complainant, is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
