AND SETTING STATUS DATE
The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on October 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Robert Rutila, Esq. represented Complainants Ryan and Heather Demilto. Lawrence Felder, Esq. represented Respondent Candelario Mendoza, doing business as Diamond Masonry & Landscape. Assistant Attorney General Charles Hover III represented the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Tedi Quezada appeared as a witness.
Prior to the commencement of the hearing, Mr. Rutila informed the Tribunal that the parties had entered into a settlement agreement that includes a payment plan, and requested that the Tribunal set this matter for a written Status Update on December 13, 2024. Both Mr. Felder and Mr. Hover agreed.
Therefore, good cause appearing, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a written Status Update on December 13, 2024. On or before this date, the parties are advised to do one of the following:
Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;
Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or
Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
