MINUTE ENTRY – POSTPONING DECISION AND REQUESTING STATUS UPDATE

The hearing of this matter was held on January 5, 2024. After the hearing, Complainant requested that the Tribunal postpone its decision in order to attempt a resolution with Respondent involving corrective action. The Administrative Law Judge found good cause to postpone the decision, and therefore, granted the request.

This matter is continued and set for a Status Update on February 9, 2024. On or before this date, Complainant is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status Update by 30 days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties have been unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for an additional hearing. If any corrective work has been performed, Complainant shall request of the Registrar of Contractors that a Compliance Inspection be performed prior to the new hearing date.
