MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on October 2, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Keith Kanipe (“Complainant”) appeared on his own behalf. Owen Brown appeared on behalf of Pleasure Spas, Inc., doing business as Pleasure Pools (“Respondent”). Registrar of Contractors Investigator Michael Springer was present.

Prior to convening the hearing, the parties jointly requested that the hearing be continued in order to provide an opportunity to have some testing performed on core samples. The Administrative Law Judge found good cause to continue the hearing, and therefore, granted the request.

The hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a Status Update on October 16, 2023. On or before this date, Complainant is advised to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
