MINUTE ENTRY - GRANTING CONTINUANCE

AND

SETTING STATUS DATE

The hearing of this matter was scheduled to convene on August 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. On the date and time set for hearing, Complainant Patricia Falcone appeared on her own behalf. Respondent Cantrell Development, Inc. did not appear. Arizona Registrar of Contractors Investigator Brian Binkney was present.

Prior to the commencement of the hearing, Complainant informed the Tribunal that she has been in communication with Respondent, that the parties are amenable to trying to resolve the matter in dispute, and that she wished to provide Respondent one last opportunity to resolve the matter.

The Administrative Law Judge found good cause to continue the hearing at Complainant’s request. As such, the hearing in the above-entitled matter is continued and set for a Status Update on October 2, 2023. On or before this date, Complainant shall to do one of the following:

Inform the Tribunal that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved by submitting a Motion to Vacate the hearing;

Inform the Tribunal that the parties need additional time to resolve the matter by submitting a Motion to Continue and reset for Status by 30-days, 45-days, or 60-days; or

Inform the Tribunal that the parties are unable to resolve their dispute and request that the matter be set for hearing.
