ORDER SETTING FURTHER HEARING VIA GOOGLE MEET

The hearing of this matter convened on July 3, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. All parties were present. During the direct examination of Doug Ulmer, Respondent’s representative, Sterling Pratt, who was present on video from his ipad, in his vehicle, disconnected from the hearing. The Tribunal waited approximately 25 minutes for Mr. Pratt to re-join the hearing and while doing so, the Administrative Law Judge attempted to contact Mr. Pratt at several phone numbers provided by Complainant and Mr. Ulmer, to no avail. Assistant Attorney General Mona Baskin also had her staff email Mr. Pratt. Given the circumstances of Mr. Pratt’s disconnection without warning, the Administrative Law Judge advised the parties that the hearing would be set for Further Hearing in order to provide Mr. Pratt the opportunity to participate in the remainder of the hearing. The hearing will pick up where we left off, and if Mr. Pratt does not appear for the Further Hearing or disconnects again without re-joining immediately, the Further Hearing will proceed in his absence.

Therefore, the parties are advised that the Further Hearing in the above-captioned matter will convene on July 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
