ORDER DENYING CONTINUANCE

Pending before the Tribunal are Respondent’s December 5, 2023 Request for Continuance of Hearing, and Complainant’s December 11, 2023 Response in opposition thereto.

Upon review and consideration, the Request for Continuance is DENIED, no good cause appearing. The parties have been aware of the pendency of this administrative hearing since the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“Registrar”) issued the Notice of Hearing on August 7, 2023. Further, the scope of the hearing is limited to the two alleged violations of this State’s contracting laws as charged by the Registrar in the Citation issued in this matter as they relate to the items set forth in the filed Complaint. The parties are on notice that the hearing is scheduled on December 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. If the hearing does not conclude within the allotted time, the matter will be set for further hearing, more than likely in February or March 2024.
