IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

On the date and time set for hearing in this matter, May 30, 2018, witnesses were sworn and testimony taken in the Complainant’s Case-in- Chief. Before the Complainant rested, the parties requested a recess for the purpose of negotiating settlement of this matter. Discussion was conducted off the records and out of the hearing of the ALJ. When the matter was reconveined, the parties informed the Tribunal on the record that a financial settlement had been reached. A cash payment of $1,300.00 was paid by the Respondent to the Complainant in open court. The Complainant requested this case be dismissed, adding that all issues in this case have been compromised and settled. Good cause being shown, this matter should be vacated. NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDERED vacating the hearing set for May 30, 2018, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this case to the Registrar of Contractors for further action noting that the Complainant has requested this matter be dismissed.
