New Life Assets Inc,

License No. ROC 296140,

RESPONDENT.

No. 2018A-3878-CHC-ROC

ORDER VACATING

MATTER FROM OAH DOCKET

John Thomas Morgan, Jr. (“Complainant”) filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) against New Life Assets Inc. DBA New Life Custom Homes’ (“Respondent’s”) contractor’s license, alleging that Respondent had performed poor work on Complainant’s project. The Registrar referred the complaint to the Office of Administrative Hearings (“OAH”) for an evidentiary hearing. Subsequently, Complainant’s and Respondent’s attorneys twice moved to continue the hearing to a status conference because they were trying to resolve the complaint by having Respondent perform corrective action and it needed additional time to perform the work. The second status conference was scheduled on this date at 4:00 p.m. pursuant to an order sent to both attorneys on December 20, 2019. However, OAH staff could not reach either attorney at the telephone numbers previously provided. The Administrative Law Judge infers that the parties have successfully resolved their dispute. Therefore,

IT IS ORDERED vacating this matter from the OAH docket.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) and (4) to the Director of the Registrar for further action.

Done this day, January 22, 2020.
