IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

A hearing had been scheduled on this date to determine the merits of Jamie Michael Norman’s (“Complainant’s”) complaint for non-payment against Gilbert Duran DBA: Duran Construction (“Respondent”). Approximately an hour before the scheduled hearing, Complainant called the Office of Administrative Hearings and informed it that he would not attend the hearing because Respondent had paid him. Although he was asked to confirm his telephone message in writing, he did not file a writing. Respondent appeared for the hearing and confirmed on the record that he had paid Complainant all amounts owed. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 10:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(4) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for further action. Done this day, May 2, 2017.
