IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

A hearing on the merits had been scheduled on this date. During the hearing, Clay Dean Davis (“Complainant”) and Excellent and Quality Drywall Inc.’s (“Respondent’s”) representatives requested a recess so that they could discuss their differences. After the recess, the parties stated on the record that they had agreed that Respondent would pay a sum of money to resolve Complainant’s complaint. On the record, Respondent counted out cash in the agreed-upon amount and Complainant stated that he accepted the cash in full settlement of the complaint that he had filed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”). Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 1:00 p.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(4) to the Director of the Registrar with the recommendation that it be closed pursuant to the parties’ settlement. Done this day, December 4, 2017.
