A hearing on the merits had been scheduled on this date on the issue of whether cause existed to revoke or suspend Arizona Elite Electrical Contractors LLC’s (“Respondent’s”) contractor’s license under A.R.S. § 32- 1154(A)(10) based on its failure to pay monies owed to Tradesmen International LLC (“Complainant”). Both parties’ representatives appeared at the hearing. At the parties’ request, a recess was called, during which the parties’ representatives had a discussion off the record. After the recess, Complainant’s representative recited the terms of the parties’ settlement agreement onto the record and Respondent’s representatives stated on the record that they agreed to the terms of the settlement. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 10:00 a.m., without prejudice to Complainant’s right to request that the complaint be reopened or to file a new complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) if Respondent fails to abide by the terms of the parties’ settlement agreement. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(4) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for further action. Done this day, September 12, 2017.
