Following the hearing in this matter held on August 9, 2016, the parties have worked to resolve the issues raised in the complaint. Based upon the latest communication, it appears a resolution may have been finalized. It appears a payment was made to Complainant to satisfy the complaint, but the Office of Administrative Hearings has not received confirmation from Complainant that he wishes to close the complaint. To allow Complainant the opportunity to clarify his position as to the status of this matter, IT IS ORDERED reopening the record in this matter. Complainant is to notify the Office of Administrative Hearings by October 31, 2016, as to whether the complaint should or should not be closed. A singular filing with the information being requested is sufficient for purposes of the Administrative Law Judge to determine the next course of action. If Complainant is not fully satisfied, a further hearing may be necessary to determine the current standing of the case. Done this day, October 25, 2016.
