A continued hearing on the merits had been scheduled on this date. At the beginning of the hearing, Respondent Precision Remodeling and Renovation Inc.’s duly authorized representative and qualifying party, Jerry Lee Steele, stated on the record that he misunderstood the limited nature of the issue that the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) had referred for hearing and the limited discretion that the Registrar possessed with respect to resolving that issue. Therefore, Mr. Steele on the record withdrew his appeal and request for hearing on the Registrar’s Notice and Order Imposing A.R.S. § 32-1154(C) Suspension. In light of the foregoing, IT IS ORDERED vacating the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 10:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) and (4) to the Director of the Registrar for further action. Done this day, September 21, 2015.
