If the Registrar modifies that decision, then the Registrar must provide “written justification setting forth the reasons for the modification.” A.R.S. § 41- 1092.08(F)(1). In this case, a hearing was held and the administrative law judge issued a written decision. See Administrative Law Judge Decision, attached. MODIFICATION AND WRITTEN JUSTIFICATION Providing an additional thirty days to pay the civil penalty is not necessary in this matter. Respondent was notified in the Cease & Desist Order that a civil penalty would be assessed for contracting without a license, nor is there a statute that allows additional time to pay these civil

penalties.

CONCLUSION AND ORDER

The Registrar hereby removes the phrase “thirty days after” from the Administrative Law

Judge’s Recommended Order, found at line 17 of page 12 of the Administrative Law Judge

Decision. Therefore, the $1,000.00 civil penalty must be paid no later than September 21,
