HEARING: November 12, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. APPEARANCES: Advanced Heating & Air LLC (“Applicant”) failed to appear; the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) appeared through Seth T. Hargraves, Esq., Assistant Attorney General. ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE: Diane Mihalsky _____________________________________________________________________
FINDINGS OF FACT Applicant failed to appear at the hearing. The tribunal waited 20 minutes beyond the scheduled start time, but no one appeared for Applicant. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW By failing to appear at the hearing, Applicant did not meet the burden to present evidence to support its qualifications to be licensed as a contractor by the Registrar.[1] RECOMMENDED ORDER Based on the foregoing, it is recommended that on the effective date of the Registrar of Contractors’ order, the Registrar affirm its decision to deny Applicant’s license application. In the event of certification of the Administrative Law Judge Decision by the Director of the Office of Administrative Hearings, the effective date of the Order will be five days from the date of that certification. Done this day, November 13, 2014.
