IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

A hearing on the merits of the civil penalty that the Arizona Registrar of Contractors imposed on Respondent Alejandro Padilla for his unlicensed contracting activity had been scheduled on this date. At the beginning of the hearing, the Registrar’s attorney and Mr. Padilla informed the Administrative Law Judge that they had reached a settlement and recited the terms of the settlement onto the record. The Registrar’s attorney stated that he would prepare a final order for the Registrar memorializing the settlement. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 1:00 p.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for further action.
