A hearing on the merits was commenced in this matter on this date. During the hearing, the parties’ attorneys requested a recess to allow them to discuss their differences and to attempt to settle their clients’ dispute. Following the recess, the parties’ attorneys announced that they had reached a settlement. Complainants agreed to withdraw their Complaint with the Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) and Respondent agreed that the Complaint could be closed as resolved/settled/withdrawn. Although the parties’ attorneys prepared an informal written memorandum to memorialize the terms of their settlement, they chose to make the terms of the settlement confidential. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 8:15 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Registrar for further action. .
