A hearing on the merits was commenced on this date. At the beginning of the hearing, the parties informed the Administrative Law Judge that they agreed to resolve this matter. Respondent Michael Lance Arthur on the record agreed to pay a $1,500.00 civil penalty by certified check or money order within thirty days of this date, agreed to withdraw his appeal of the Registrar of Contractors’ imposition of the civil penalty and cease-and- desist order, and agreed in the future to comply with applicable contracting statutes. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 8:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for further action. Done this day, March 25, 2011.
