Five days before the hearing in this matter was scheduled, Complainant Rincon Roofing, Inc. asked the Registrar of Contractors to cancel the complaint. Respondent Copeland Construction and Development, Inc. dba Copeland Construction did not appear at the duly noticed hearing within 30 minutes of the scheduled time the hearing had been scheduled to begin to oppose closure of the complaint. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the hearing on the merits in this matter that had been scheduled on May 2, 2011, at 8:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors with the recommendation that it be closed as resolved, settled, or withdrawn. Done this day, May 3, 2011.
