A hearing was commenced on this date. During the hearing, the parties requested a recess to attempt to negotiate a settlement of Complainant Gilbert Gutierrez’ claim for non-payment against Respondent S V P Manufacturing, Inc. After the recess, the parties confirmed their settlement and recited its terms on the record. Complainant agreed to withdraw his complaint to the Registrar. Because the settlement agreement was voluntarily made and reasonable under the circumstances, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 8:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors with the recommendation that it be closed as resolved/settled/withdrawn. Done this day, January 11, 2011.
