A hearing on the merits of this complaint to the Registrar of Contractors (“the Registrar”) was commenced on this date. At the beginning of the hearing, the parties requested a recess to attempt to resolve their differences. After the recess, the parties confirmed that they had reached a settlement and stated the essential terms of their settlement on the record. Complainant agreed to withdraw his complaint pursuant to the settlement. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date at 8:00 a.m. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Registrar with the recommendation that it be closed as “Resolved/Settled/Withdrawn.” Done this day, February 11, 2011.
