A hearing on the merits was commenced on this date. After a recess, the parties informed the Administrative Law Judge that they had reached a settlement and recited the essential terms of the settlement on the record. Pursuant to the settlement, both parties agreed to withdraw their complaints. Because both parties voluntarily entered into the settlement and the terms of the settlement were fair and reasonable, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding these consolidated matters under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors with the recommendation that both complaints be closed as resolved, settled, or withdrawn. Done this day, December 8, 2010.
