A hearing on the merits of this matter was commenced on this date. At the beginning of the hearing, the attorneys representing Respondent Andrew P. Loza and the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (“POST”) requested a recess. After the recess, the attorneys confirmed on the record that they had reached a settlement in principle that they would present to POST for its approval. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the remainder of the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C.
