The Arizona Registrar of Contractors had scheduled a hearing on this date. After the parties had commenced presentation of their cases, they requested a recess to discuss settlement. Subsequently, the parties informed the Administrative Law Judge that they had reached a settlement and had reduced the essential terms of their settlement to writing. They also read the settlement agreement into the record. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED vacating the hearing on the merits that had been scheduled on this date. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding this matter under A.A.C. R2-19-111(3) to the Director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for further action. Done this day, October 8, 2009.
