IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

Respondent has informed the Registrar of Contractors that “the hearing for the above referenced case has been dismissed.” Staff at the Office of Administrative Hearings called Complainant’s representative Lauren Adams and confirmed that, because Respondent had performed the necessary corrective work, even though it took six months to do so, a hearing is no longer necessary. Although Ms. Adams said she would send via facsimile a request to vacate the hearing, nothing in writing has been received. Nonetheless, in view of Respondent’s correction of its deficient workmanship, IT IS ORDERED that the hearing scheduled to convene on March 12, 2001be vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this matter be remanded to the Registrar of Contractors with the recommendation that it be closed. Done this day, March 12, 2001.
