HEARING: May 3, 2000, at 8:30 a.m. APPEARANCES: The Registrar of Contractors appeared through Assistant Attorney General, Kathryn Winters. Respondents Versatech Construction Inc., Westco Development Corp., and M and M Painting, Inc., appeared through counsel, Alfred Donau. Respondent Thomas Design Build appeared through its authorized representative, Ronald Thomas. ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE: M. These matters came on for consolidated hearing on May 3, 2000. Evidence and testimony were presented and, based upon the entire record, the following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Recommended Order are made: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. These matters were held open to allow the parties to complete settlement negotiations that were entered into at the consolidated hearing. 2. On May 12, 2000, the parties submitted a written RECOMMENDATION FOR DISPOSTITION AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A”. 3. All parties have signed the Agreement and have requested that the settlement agreement be adopted as a final disposition of all of all matters.. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW 1. Adverse parties should be free to adjust their differences by entry into settlement agreements which should be recognized and given effect by all tribunals. RECOMMENDED ORDER In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that written settlement agreement (attached hereto as Exhibit “A”) be adopted as a final disposition of all matters.
