IN THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

On June 12, 2000, Assistant Attorney General Daniel Christl, representing the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control (Department), filed a STIPULATION FOR CANCELLATION OF HEARING signed by representatives of each party, on the basis that the parties had settled the matter through a Consent Agreement and Order. The STIPULATION requested that the hearing scheduled for June 29, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. be canceled. Statutory authority (A.R.S. § 41-1061.D) specifically recognizes that the parties may resolve a contested matter by agreed-upon settlement, and public policy favors such settlement. Therefore, good cause appearing, IT IS ORDERED that the above- entitled case be vacated from the calendar of the Office of Administrative Hearings and the hearing be canceled, and that the matter be remanded to the Director for further disposition consistent with the foregoing.
